April Fools’ jokes at the photocopier
Every office has a photocopier. But hardly any will have a photocopier that runs via voice control. No problem, yours will soon be able to do it too, or at least claim to. Simply print out a note that says something like: “Since yesterday, the copier has been running via voice control. Proceed step by step. 1. say how many copies you need 2. say your name/password 3. say “start”.” Simply lean back and enjoy the spectacle.
Also amusing: Place a small photo of your choice on the inside of the copier, on the lid. It could be a cheesy teddy bear or a crazy-looking Nicholas Cage – every copy will bear your stamp.

For a greener office
As April 1st falls on a Monday this year, this prank is perfect for an April Fool’s joke. On Friday, simply wait until your colleague goes off work and then sprinkle the keyboard with a little sand or soil. Then add some cress seeds. On Monday, the cress should already be growing out of the keyboard. You can quickly find detailed instructions on how to grow cress on the Internet. The looks – priceless.
Delicious treats for the coffee break
Oreo cookies are not only popular in the office. All you need to make them suitable for April Fool’s Day is a tube of toothpaste. Carefully separate the cookie halves from the cream filling, carefully remove the cream and replace it with toothpaste. Enjoy your meal!
If you want to continue annoying your colleagues, but less conspicuously, you can replace the coffee in the machine with decaffeinated coffee. We don’t recommend making the coffee extra strong, as this could lead to unpleasant side effects for some and you don’t want to harm anyone. However, finding the office full of tired zombies sounds more amusing.
Bring a large pack of donuts with you in the morning. But fill them with raw vegetables first. Cucumbers cut into sticks, cocktail tomatoes and carrots with dip are perfect for this. Still delicious, but your colleagues will be disappointed. A pizza box works just as well for this
When the caffeine is missing…
April Fool’s Day! At the computer
It’s usually the little things that you don’t think of straight away. For example, settings on the computer that you didn’t make yourself. Harmless but very confusing: changing the font color to white. Your colleagues will wonder why the computer just won’t write.
Change the keyboard from QWERTZ to AZERTY. Can be done quickly in Windows using a key combination:
Alt + Shift, Shift + Alt or Shift + Alt Gr.
Or you can click on the Windows icon at the bottom, go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options → Languages → Add language and select French from the list. Click on Add and the April Fool’s joke is ready.
The classic is to tape the mouse at the bottom. But since it is a classic, this April Fool’s joke could be very entertaining. If you want to go one better, you can unplug the mouse cable.
Rotate the screen by 90 degrees. To do this, click the right mouse button on the desktop, go to Screen resolution and select Landscape orientation. Now everything is upside down. Also quite funny: the mouse now works mirrored.
