Hamburg, August 5, 2025 – On August 1, smartments opened a new property in the Hamburg district of Hamm. With 160 modern serviced apartments and a clear focus on digital services and comfortable stays, smartments is targeting business travelers, project employees, and city travelers alike.
“With smartments Hamburg Hamm, we are entering a growth phase and implementing our new lobby concept for the first time. Our property offers serviced apartments for flexible stays with modern design, well-thought-out details, and a smart digital experience,” said Andrea Bastel, Managing Director of smartments.
Urban, smart, future-oriented
The six-story building at Luisenweg 9 features 149 studios, seven XL studios, and four apartments – all equipped with a kitchenette, smart TV, desk, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. A particular focus is on digital services such as app-based check-in and 24/7 access via NFC technology. Barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible units are also part of the concept.
Strong location, strong demand
Hamm, located in the Hamburg-Mitte district, stands out with its central location, excellent public transport connections (subway stations Hammer Kirche and Hammer Steindamm), and an urban, multicultural environment. The nearby Hammer Park and cultural institutions such as the Fabrik der Künste further highlight the neighborhood’s appeal.

An offering with perspective
smartments Hamburg Hamm provides 40 car parking spaces, including three smart parkers. For longer stays, on-site laundry facilities are available, as well as a drinks and snack machine. Climate control is ensured by modern fan coil systems for both heating and cooling.
