What are smart TVs?
Smart TVs are, as the word itself suggests, clever television sets. They are a combination of television and internet and are very popular. This makes them somewhat similar to computers, as they are equipped with interfaces, memory card slots and USB ports. The most important features, however, are the WLAN and other network options. The most attractive feature for most users is that a smart TV can be used to access various streaming services. Whether you want to watch series and movies or listen to music – everything is possible.
How does a Smart TV work?
To be able to use all the functions of a Smart TV, you need a working internet connection. High-speed WiFi is always included in our SMARTments business apartments, so your Smart TV is just waiting to be used by you. It is only through the internet that it becomes a modern multifunctional device with an integrated web browser, a voice assistant, AirPlay support and much more. The latter allows you to transfer content directly from your smartphone to the Smart TV.

The biggest advantage is obvious: with a smart TV in your smart apartment, you’ll feel even more at home. You don’t have to take half your DVD collection with you when you travel, but can just check in and continue watching your favorite series where you left off. So why not turn your smartments apartment into a home theater? Since you’re not staying in a hotel, but in your own four walls for a while, you can invite your friends over for a movie night.
Fancy some popcorn? There are pots ready in the kitchenette: simply heat up some oil and pop some popcorn corn. Not bought any drinks? There are drinks and snack vending machines in the building if you run out of something or spontaneously feel like it. Would you prefer to order food? Ask at reception for good delivery services and put your feet up.
